Floral Workshop || La Fabrique St-George

A fun and creative day with our staff in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood attending the Spring Blooms Centerpiece Workshop put on by Neve Floral and Angelica Floral Design.

We arrived a little early, which gave us the chance to visit a couple of shops in the neighbourhood as well as picking up a coffee and pastry from Purebread Bakery. So good!

The Space || La Fabrique St-George

Held in the moody vestibule of the winery La Fabrique St-George, we were greeted with a gorgeous table filled with beautiful garden flowers. After introductions and a glass of wine and a plate of charcuterie, we were given an inspiring floral demonstration by Anna Lambert. She used nuanced flowers and textures in a natural palette to create a light and airy arrangement. Then it was our turn to create our own version on the theme of naturalistic design.

Our Turn

With the background hum of the Sunday afternoon crowd at the winery, and the mingling of our group, we had a lovely  time exploring our personal connection with flowers in a creative and inspiring space. Not only did we get to take home our arrangements after we photographed them,  we also came away with a few new flower friends too.
